Hanukkah has begun, marking the start of eight nights filled with light, hope, and meaningful tradition. For many families in our community, the Festival of Lights is a time to slow down, gather with loved ones, and celebrate resilience and togetherness.
Each evening, an additional candle is lit on the menorah, beginning with one on the first night and culminating with all eight candles lit on the final night. This progression symbolizes hope growing into fullness, and the miracle of the oil that lasted eight days.
Whether it’s lighting the first candle or enjoying the brilliance of all eight on the final night, Hanukkah encourages reflection, joy, and shared traditions — from playing dreidel to preparing festive foods like latkes and sufganiyot.
As healthcare providers serving Orléans, we understand how important family, routine, and wellbeing are during the holiday season. Whether you observe Hanukkah personally or are joining in the spirit of the festivities, we wish you comfort, health, and connection throughout the week ahead.
From all of us at Centrum Pharmacy, may the Festival of Lights bring peace, warmth, and good health to you and your loved ones.
